What Matters Most?

Because of our sin, we are separated from God.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  Romans 3:23

The penalty for our sin is death.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Romans 6:23

The penalty for our sin was paid by Jesus Christ!
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 5:8

If we repent of our sin, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved from our sins!
“For whosever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  Romans 10:13
“…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  Romans 10:9-10

Can you be sure that if you ask Christ to save you, He will?
“Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God… These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:1,13
